Strategic Directions has partnered with the AFCOM Data Center Institute to release a new data centre Standard. There are levels of confusion over data centre size and density across the industry, resulting in the AFCOM Data Center Institute and Strategic Directions working together to create an Industry Framework and Standard for Data Centres.

The Standard, presented as white paper, outlines a standard set of facility size and density ratings to inform the development of regulatory obligations, such as building energy efficiency reporting, at state, regional and local levels.

It answers the following questions:
• Why does size and density matter?
• Why are standard definitions for data centres needed?
• What standard terminology, and industry recognized language can be applied internationally across the Data Centres?

Learn more by visiting StrategicDirections website and downloading the whitepaper.
